Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® is an exemplary organization founded on a legacy of sisterhood, scholarship and service. We were the first African-American interest sorority founded in the United States on the campus of Howard University in January of 1908.
Since our inception, we have responded to the world's increasing complexity by empowering communities through our service initiatives and progressive programs.
