Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Lambda Pi Omega Chapter invites youth ages 11–13 to join us for the 2026–2027 Youth Leadership Institute (YLI) – Champions of Change!
YLI is a youth-led, highly interactive leadership development program designed to empower both young men and young women to recognize their potential, strengthen their leadership skills, and become confident changemakers in their schools and communities.
Throughout the program year, participants will engage in enriching experiences including:

Leadership development and team-building activities

Financial literacy and money-management skills

College and career exploration

Community service projects
-
Educational and cultural field trips

Civic and community engagement

Goal setting, communication, and confidence building

Opportunities to build friendships, discover new interests, and have fun!
